Your (Sun)Days With Us
We are looking for an innovative Retention Marketer to join our team. In this role, you'll be working directly with our Senior Marketing Manager to test and develop new retention and growth strategies. This person will be responsible for understanding the user journey from signup to purchase and will lead our strategy into how we maximize our relationship with the user via email, push, SMS, and more. We want someone who is passionate about understanding our audience and the conversion process and is comfortable analyzing data to find what works.
Your Part in the Pack
- Design persuasive, compelling, and on-brand customer experiences that help new subscribers discover, explore and extract value from their subscription
- Own the development and delivery of the customer onboarding roadmap.
- Analyze customer data to identify opportunities to improve retention and marketing performance, feeding new audience insight into the onboarding roadmap
- Work with editorial and the email platform specialists to identify, package and surface the most compelling editorial content, developing our customer-first approach to automation, personalization, communication preference, and frequency
- Work with the data and insight team to understand the drivers of early engagement and retention and how this impacts wider business and financial performance.
- Collaborate and influence across multiple teams, communicating the onboarding and retention strategy and ensuring our objectives and KPIs are reflected in cross-functional activity
What You Bring to the Table
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in retention and lifecycle marketing across email and app channels.
- Knowledge of platforms for segmentation, email/app automation, and campaign management.
- Strong HTML skills. Experience building customer journey CRM series and triggered alerts.
- Detailed understanding of engagement and retention performance metrics and levers, able set KPIs and manage performance
- A successful track record in partnering with technical analytics, product, and engineering teams to develop new programs and features.
